The Dean Noble Zone Christmas Special 2008
This year, I thought that I would share a Christmas memory.
On Christmas Eve 1993, I was living in the inner city of Vancouver. It usually never snows, but that day, on the 24th, it snowed. It was at 10:30 at night and I was walking through a snowdrift through Stanley Park in Vancouver like Bono walking through the snow in that U2 video. That is one of my Christmas memories.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Dean Noble Zone Remembrance Day Special 2008
The Dean Noble Zone Remembrance Day Special
IN FLANDERS FIELDS
In Flanders Fields
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, Canadian soldier
